2019 Evelyn Berger Award

Congratulations to Dr. Julian Montoro-Rodriguez, former Director of the Gerontology program at UNC Charlotte, who received the 2019 Evelyn Berger Award from Brittany Kearny and Michele Cook, who serve on the Board of Charlotte Mecklenburg Aging Coalition (CMAC).

The award recognizes outstanding contributions an individual or organization has made to address and support older adult issues. The mission of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Aging Coalition is “to facilitate inter-agency cooperation, identify critical issues and promote response strategies with regard to the aging population.”
